Understanding old flutes is greatly enhanced through an examination of both the music for flute and also the many treatises about the flute. Although my main interest is in collecting the flutes themselves, playing music from and studying the originals is a wonderful thing. I will try to include here the items from my collection which I like the most. I hope you find them of interest.
