Notes: This is a very special flute in superb condition. As far as I can tell it is entirely original. It has a bit of newer string wrapped over the old string but appears to have the original key pad and presumable original cork. No cracks or repairs. It plays very well. It very much has the feel of an 18th century flute. Instruments from Strasbourg are often interesting as they are a special combination of French and German. The box has a number of lines of German text on it - very difficult to decipher!
