Husson-Buthod Thibouville, Paris, 5-key boxwood with ivory rings and brass keys 430/440 (tuning slide), c. 1840?. This is a very fine flute in virtually mint condition. The only thing that I notice is that the endcap has some wood broken off the edges resulting in sits being rather “square.” It is just a cap, not a screw-cap. The embouchure is a perfect oval type in mint condition. This flute produces a big, but sweet, sound and works well throughout the entire range. The pitch range of 430-440 is ideal. SOLD
